The tools to verify digital content existed.
Nobody had built a system media companies could actually use.

AI tools now produce text, images, audio, and video that looks identical to human-made work. The technology to detect and document that difference existed — in academic papers, in standards bodies, in bits and pieces across the internet.

What didn't exist was a platform built for the people who actually publish content: editors, legal teams, creative directors, and compliance officers who needed a practical answer to a question that was getting more urgent every week.

We built Ledgible to be that answer.

What we believe

Verified at creation — not labeled after the fact.

A content record applied after publication can't be trusted. Verification has to happen the moment content is made — before it leaves the tool that created it.

Anyone should be able to check.

Proof shouldn't require a Ledgible account or access to your systems. Any regulator, auditor, or publishing partner should be able to verify a piece of content independently.

Records don't get edited.

Once a content record is written, it stays written. No corrections, no deletions, no retroactive changes. The integrity of the record is the product.
